Mother's Day!

This is my first mother's day at home. Usually, I travel to Mississippi to attend Decoration Day at my great-grandmother's church in Eupora. We go to a special church service and have a big lunch, Baptist style. New flowers are placed on the graves and we pay our respects. I have my grandmother, grandfather, great-grandfather, great great grandmother, and probably some other relatives buried there. It's a special place that holds lots of memories. We were unable to go, since we'll be traveling back home in just 3 weeks!

Michael and I were both actually off from work yesterday, so we went to the Riverside Arts Market in downtown Jacksonville. It's held every Saturday during most months of the year. Imagine a prarie arts festival every Saturday! It was awesome! We met up with a good friend of mine and had a good time walking around. They had music, and Colten got to break down some dance moves! We then did some shopping, since our little man needed some shoes!

My mother's day has been great so far! I got a pair of Opal earrings and an opal necklace. Michael is also getting two of my rings sized so that I can wear them! Opal is Colten's birthstone! They are so pretty! I'm wearing them with my pajamas right now! He's also cooking me sausage and pancakes! then I get to take a nap. Whatever will I do with all of this pampering!

Happy mother's day to the most amazing mom on earth, my mamma Dianne Holman. She's sacrificed her whole life just to make her children happy. She always puts her children first, even if it means she has to do without. I just pray that I can be half the mother that she is. She's also one of my very best friends. I can talk to her about anything and she always gives the greatest advice. I love you, mamma!

Now for the pictures!
